Always on the cutting edge of driver assistance systems, Lexus has added some new safety features for the 2024 model year. Included in the automaker’s signature Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 (LSS+ 3.0), one will find two brand-new features. First, Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist supports collision avoidance with certain detectable objects within the lane in which one is driving. This is implemented by applying gentle steering and braking corrections, as calculated by the system. Second, Left Turn Oncoming Vehicle Detection/Braking provides a warning as well as automatic braking whenever the system detects its driver is turning left in front of an oncoming vehicle. Needless to say, these innovations make the 2024 Lexus NX safer than ever before.
Enhancements to the 2024 Lexus NX Interior
Furthermore, in terms of subtle changes, there are some masterfully understated additions and enhancements to the 2024 Lexus NX interior. More explicitly, prospective owners of the 2024 NX vehicles will be able to select from the following interior console and seat colors: Palomino, Black, Black with Rich Cream, and Rioja Red NuLuxe trim. Better yet, new for the 2024 model year, vehicles with Circuit Red and Black/Rich Cream interior colors will also receive color-keyed elements for the front and rear door panels. The end result is an especially comfortable, stylish, and seamless interior.
