What Superpowers Did the Lexus RZ 450e Exhibit for Marvel Studios?

This is just one example of the partnership between Lexus and Marvel Studios, the most recent of which was a joint ad campaign for the sequel to the aforementioned film and the Lexus RZ 450e. In the commercial, the brand’s first-ever battery electric vehicle comes to the aid of the Dora Milaje to fight villains in an effort to establish a more sustainable future. So, now that the RZ 450e is kind of a part of the MCU, what superpowers did it exhibit?

Power and Acceleration
The Dora Milaje are known for their incredible power and speed, despite not being superhumans. The first-ever RZ 450e exhibits similar skills to these famous warriors. To put things more specifically, the electric vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds, largely thanks to its impressive 312 horsepower.
Design and Style
While it might not be a superpower, per se, the Black Panther is certainly recognized for their incredible super suit. The iconic Black Panther suit, as shown in the film, was designed by Shuri to be as practical as it is stylish. The same can be said for the RZ 450e, which was designed with a lightweight body and aerodynamic architecture. Accents throughout the vehicle, both inside and out, are reminiscent of the stunning accents on the Panther suit.
Technologically Advanced
It’s no secret that, in the MCU, Wakanda is the most technologically advanced nation in the world. With revolutionary technology not just packed into the Black Panther suit, as previously mentioned, but in every aspect of its residents’ daily lives, the Lexus RZ 450e certainly had to step up to prove itself. With this being the first battery-electric vehicle the brand has built, it certainly is a huge step forward in technology and means more than words can say for the brand’s future.
