Press Play: The Lexus RC F GT3 is Back On The Track on July 4

Our lives have been out on pause. So has motorsport.
Now, the pause button has been released. It’s time to press play. It’s time to go green!
IMSA’s WeatherTech Sportscar Championship is back! The AIM Sullivan Vasser racing team with their duo of Lexus RC F GT3 cars in the GTD class. Drivers Townsend Bell, Frank Montecalvo, Aaron Telitz, Shane Van Gisbergen, Jack Hawksworth, Parker Chase, and Michael De Quesada have been in self quarantine, training and getting ready for their first laps back on the track.
It all starts with a bang – of exhaust and firecrackers – on July 4th weekend, when IMSA returns to the Daytona Motor Speedway for the IMSA WeatherTech 240. That’s two hours and forty minutes of racing, including the inside course at Daytona.
The schedule continues to – finally – race at Sebring again. This time, they’ll run just two hours and forty minutes in the evening. They will return to Sebring at the end of the season in November for the official running of the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Our closest race will be at Laguna Seca, as the Lexus RC F GT3 battles the Corkscrew on September 4-6.
At Lexus of Las Vegas, we are racing fans like you. We were as patient, as you are. Now, our excitement is growing again. Of course, you can live your IMSA fantasy by getting your own Lexus RC F for the road and the track.
Racing is back! Let the green flag drop!
