Lexus Warms the Heart with December to Remember TV Spots
Lexus always prepares something special for the Christmas season with its” December to Remember” Events. This includes specific ads for the holiday, with a recurring element being the new Lexus in the driveway with a huge holiday red bow on top. So iconic has this visual become, that it has even been spoofed on Saturday Night Live with both “Lexus” and “December to Remember” being named.
Campaign Started in Las Vegas
Lexus kicked off the campaign here in Lexus of Las Vegas. Just after Thanksgiving, visitors to the new entertainment venue, Sphere, viewed a captivating ninety-second digital installation across its 580,000 sq. ft. LED exterior. Visitors watched as a snow-covered globe’s icy exterior cracked open to reveal an all-new 2024 Lexus GX adorned with the brand’s signature big red bow.
Great New TV Advertisements
For the rest of the nation, Lexus has three spots to support its December to Remember campaign. One new TV spot features the all-new 2024 TX model and another showcases the GX in action. A third RX spot was brought back from last year.
“The focus of this year’s ‘December to Remember’ campaign is to intentionally celebrate the special moments that can’t be wrapped – from thoughtful surprises to making memories with loved ones,” said Vinay Shahani, vice president Lexus marketing. “We’re amplifying the spirit of the season year-round through curated marketing efforts and purposeful partnerships.”
The Big Red Bow is only featured in one of the new advertisements. In “Overnight Lexus”, a boy appears to fall asleep while his father reads him a story about magic beans that grow spectacularly overnight. Later, after his father leaves, the boy, inspired by the story, buries a small toy silver SUV in the snow. The next morning there is a surprise 2024 TX in the driveway, complete with the holiday bow.
In “Sled Dogs,” a woman is driving a 2024 GX while a Siberian Husky is secured in the back seat, seemingly barking directions. The GX leaves the road and drives effortlessly through increasingly thick snow until she arrives at the destination to find a man, likely her husband, dealing with a broken sled surrounded by other sled dogs. The woman, man, dogs, and the broken sled all head home, warm and cozy in the GX.
In the spot brought back from last year, a young boy thinks of the RX as a time machine before the vehicle reunites him with his older brother. All three spots will air through November and December.

Thinking Small with a New TikTok Video
Reaching a younger audience, Lexus has partnered with TikTok content creator, cinematographer, VFX, and miniature artist Sebastian Jern. Tying into the popular TikTok miniatures trend, the brand collaborated with Jern to create an intricate, miniature winter landscape featuring a Lexus RX topped with the automaker’s iconic holiday big red bow.
Lexus continues to be a proud partner of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and will donate $150,000 this holiday season to support their essential work.
The TX, GX, RX, and all of the rest of Lexus’s superb SUVs and sedans are all here in abundance at Lexus of Las Vegas, ready for you to have a new one in your driveway – with or without a big holiday bow.
