The Lexus RX has been a leader in its class. Not by being the first, or the best-selling of its kind, but by being innovative. That innovation is what we call the Lexus RX.

A DISTINCTIVE LOOK

The signature spindle grille frames an all-new, bold front end that has a three-dimensional feel in every crease. Lighting units feature multiple LED lenses, including a daytime running lamp and fog lamps. The fenders are bolder and more muscular than before.

There is a twist to the roofline towards the rear with a new flowing design that accentuates the idea of motion while cutting down wind resistance. A rear tailgate area is highlighted with sharply-defined LED taillights and a continued muscular flow onto the tailgate itself.

AN EQUALLY DISTINCTIVE INTERIOR

Sharp instrumentation welcomes the driver to take command of the road. A better-defined infotainment screen, measuring 12.3-inches in diameter, adorns the center top of the instrument panel. Also available is a heads-up color display, making piloting the RX better for keeping the driver’s eyes on the road.

The F Sport is available on the RX 350 and the RX 450h two-row models, for the first time ever. It means sportier seating with deeper bolstering than before and an LFA-inspired TFT Multi-Information Display.

 

THREE ROWS OF SEATING – NO RESERVE

The RX L adds a third row, accessible through a larger rear door opening. With space for seven passengers, you can still carry a lot home with its expandable cargo area, even behind the second row.

You can now have an RX – in either the RX 350L or RX 450hL – with your expanding family in mind.

SAFETY AND TECHNOLOGY COME FIRST

Safety is a priority on the RX with the introduction of Lexus Safety System+. This new system integrates features such as the Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, Automatic High Beams, Lane Keeping Assist, Panoramic View Monitor, and other active safety technologies.

A CHOICE IN SEATING – A CHOICE IN POWER

The RX 350 and RX 350L are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 with direct fuel injection, putting out 290 horsepower. Connected to the RX 350 and RX 350L is an eight-speed automatic transmission with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive.

The RX 450h and RX 450hL are powered by a V6 engine Lexus Hybrid Drive and a continuously variable transmission. RX 450h offers All-Weather Drive in combination with the hybrid driveline. Adaptive Variable Suspension electronically monitors and adapts the dampers on the shocks to match road conditions towards a smoother ride and more manageable handling.
