Step Inside

Step inside a cabin made for four to five adults. Each seat is comfortably upholstered in soft NuLuxe or aniline leather. The dashboard is crafted with accents that are coordinated with the color of the upholstery, including several wood trims available. Selecting the F Sport trim on the NX raised the bar in comfort and driver focus with a heavily bolstered seat design and accents befitting a true sports machine. Instrumentation is straightforward with a fully customizable screen for trip and vehicle readouts.

The newest addition to the 2022 NX is the Interface infotainment system. This all-new infotainment architecture is now accessible through a touchscreen system with optimal connectivity from your device, as well as your home. This system is standard with the new 9.8-inch touchscreen, with a larger 14-inch version available. The good news is that dials and buttons are still available for better tactile control of the audio and climate control.


A Lexus is built to be safe. Active safety features include a Pre-Collision System with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert, a Backup Camera, Intuitive Parking Assist, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Smart Stop Technology. The NX 300h offers a Vehicle Proximity Notification System when it is operating in EV mode. To further enhance these technologies, Lexus Enform Safety Connect is available to connect with Lexus if an issue arises with the NX. Enform could also be monitored through a smartphone with its own app.

There are four engines to choose from, including two hybrid drivelines. Economy-minded guests will find the NX 250 to be fantastic. The 203-horsepower 2.5-liter engine is great for commutes into Las Vegas or across town. The NX 350 sports an all-new 275-horsepower 2.4-liter turbocharged engine made for solid sprints and superb luxury. The NX 350h combines a 2.5-liter engine with an electric motor and battery pack, good for a combined 239 horsepower. This driveline can return up to 36 MPG.

For the first time, a Lexus is now powered by a plug-in hybrid driveline. Along with a 2.5-liter engine, the electric drive system can be plugged to add an estimated 36 miles of battery-fueled range. Along with standard all-wheel drive, the NX 450h+ adds a Predictive Efficient Drive system that combines the navigation system with a way to read how you actually drive your vehicle. It can assist in knowing when you stop the vehicle, as well as how you accelerate and cruise.

To enhance the driving experience, a Drive Mode selector knob can switch the NX from Eco to Sport, depending on the kind of driving being done. An EV mode is available on the NX 350h and NX 450h+ for driving at low speeds using only battery power.
