How To Train Your Lexus to Recognize Your Voice

We live in a fast-paced world here in Las Vegas. We do not have time for anything. We conduct business in our vehicles, so we need our phones connected without even touching them. We also don’t want to touch anything to change the radio station or get directions.

There is a solution for you. Lexus offers true voice recognition for your vehicle. It works very simply and does its best to understand you.

To make it work for you, you can train the system to recognize your voice.

Setting up the Voice Recognition system can be done two ways. Through the Remote Touchpad, click on MENU, then SETUP, VOICE, then TRAIN VOICE RECOGNITION. Also, through your steering wheel buttons, click the Talk switch, then on the Remote Touchpad, select VOICE TRAINING.

Once you are on the TRAIN VOICE RECOGNITION start screen, click START and follow the screens. On these screens, you will be asked to say 10 different phrases as prompted. The system will understand your accent or verbal inflection.
