What are the 2023 Lexus RX models and engines?
In 2023, there is truly a Lexus RX for everyone. First up, the exclusively gas-powered RX 350 features a new 275-horsepower turbocharged engine that accomplishes up to 317 pound-feet of torque. An extremely impressive base model, the 2023 RX 350 is sure to entice all types of drivers, especially those who prefer a gasoline engine. What’s more, the RX 350 can be equipped with either front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). A powerful engine with a customizable drivetrain? It just doesn’t get any better than that; unless, of course, a hybrid model is more your style.
The first of three AWD hybrid options, the RX 350h, can produce up to 246 horsepower and 233 pound-feet of torque. Second, the 450+—the RX’s first plug-in powertrain—combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an 18.1-kWh lithium-ion battery and rear E-Four motor to produce next-generation acceleration. Please note that the 450h+ will be available in the U.S. at a later date.
Last but not least, for the first time ever, the RX 500h F SPORT Performance AWD reports for duty. This high-performance hybrid model levels the playing field with a whopping total output of up to 366 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. Better yet, a DIRECT4 AWD system gives this drivetrain extremely dynamic handling, controllability, and adjustability, which ultimately creates one of the smoothest and most seamless driving experiences in the world today.
2023 Lexus RX Trim Levels and Features
The all-new 2023 Lexus RX will be available in six trim levels: Standard, Premium, RX-first Premium+, Luxury, F SPORT Handling and RX-first, and F SPORT Performance. Across these grades, one will find a massive variety of standard and available features including a 14-inch high-definition touchscreen interface, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and so much more.
Just getting started, every model of the 2023 Lexus RX comes fully equipped with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 – a full suite of state-of-the-art safety and driver-assistance features. Included in every 2023 RX, one can find Pre-Collision System, Proactive Driving Assist, Road Sign Assist, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Intelligent High Beam, and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control with Curve Speed Management.
